Method 1: Check Your Carrier

5G is getting popular worldwide, but not all carriers support 5G, so it’s best to contact your carrier to learn if they support this wireless connectivity. Most big carriers like T-Mobile, Verizon, O2, or AT&T support 5G. If the carrier is not the issue, then it may be with your current location. Method 2: Check Your SIM Card

Make sure your SIM is 5G enabled. If you bought your iPhone from your carrier or Apple, your SIM card should support 5G. However, there is a good chance that your old SIM card is not optimized for 5G. In this case, you can contact your carrier and check if your SIM card supports 5G. 

Method 3: Make sure 5G is working properly

If the problem persists, the following solution is to ensure that 5G is working on your iPhone. A 5G icon should show up in your status bar. If not, double-check if it’s working correctly. Here is how to do it.
