Basically, the stock Calendar app includes an option that allows you to create an event that’s accessible to every Family member.
This is one of the biggest additions to the Calendar app, as it allows anyone to view and update the event. If you are a family organizer, you should receive notifications when someone edits or removes an event. Besides, family members can unsubscribe to the calendar’s family sharing at any time.

Select your default calendar
Apple’s stock Calendar app now allows users to select their preferred calendar to suit your needs. Apple is finally adding this feature to its stock Calendar app, offering users an option to select their calendar.
To do this, you first need to open the Calendar app from your home screen, then scroll down a little bit and hit Calendar. After that, tap Default Calendar and then choose Family to complete the task.

To do this, open the Settings app from your home screen, then select Calendar and tap Default Alert Times. Once you are in, you will be presented with three options, including Birthdays, Events, and All-Day Events

The drag and drop feature is one of the highlights of iOS 11. The feature now works in the Calendar app, offering users a new way to interact with the app. You now can move your event to its new day and time. To do this, open the Calendar app from your home screen, and then tap and hold an event until it turns darker. After that drag and drop it to its new day.

View your weekly schedule
The Calendar app includes a handy little tip that allows you to view your weekly schedule. All you need to do is to put your phone in landscape mode. Once you do that, you should see all of your Calendar events for the entire week. This makes sure that you won’t miss any important meetings or appointments.

Change the color of a calendar
One of the coolest parts of Apple’s stock Calendar app is that it color-codes your events. However, if you are not happy with the default colors, then you can change them directly from the Calendar app.

Apple’s virtual helper, Siri helps you a lot with your daily tasks. In this case, you can use your voice command to add or change an event in the Calendar app. To do this, fire up Siri and simply say “add a meeting to my calendar”.
