Steps to save live videos in Instagram on your iPhone

25Instagram is undoubtedly the most photo-sharing service in the world. Instagram keeps improving itself with the introduction of new features and changes. Last year, Facebook-owned service launched live video and disappearing photos in an attempt to compete directly with Snapchat.

Basically, the live video feature can be found in Instagram Stories and allows you to broadcast video to your followers. At launch your followers could only watch while you are streaming. No Save button. But there is a workaround for saving live Instagram video without the help of a third-party app thanks to Instagram officially adding the ability to save live videos right within the app.

In this step-by-step guide, we will walk you through the steps to save live videos in Instagram for iPhone. Before we begin, make sure that you have the latest version of Instagram installed on your device.

Steps to save live videos in Instagram on your iPhone

Step one: Launch Instagram from your home screen and then hit the Camera icon located at the top left corner of the screen

Step two: Next up, you now need to tap on Live button that’s dead at the bottom of the app and then hit the Start Live Video button on the screen

Step three: You now simply need to tap on the tiny End button located at the top right corner of the screen. After that, select End Live Video from the pop-up menu and then hit the Save button at the top right corner of the screen.

Once you do that, your live video is now saved. You can view your Instagram video from the Camera roll on your iPhone.

That’s it! You can also customize your live video to your liking and upload it to social media feeds. This is a great feature added to Instagram, so make sure that you check it out.
