Steps to make a phone call on your Mac
Step one: First off, on your iPhone, you need to launch the Settings app from your home screen, then tap Phone and select Calls on Other Devices. After that, you simply need to select the devices you want to allow calls on
Step two: Next up, head back to your Mac and open FaceTime. After that, click on FaceTime from the Apple menu > Preferences and select Calls from iPhone
Step three: Now, there are multiple ways to place a call from your Mac. If you want to make a phone call using FaceTime, you simply need to open FaceTime on your Mac, then click on Audio and hit the handset to place a call
Step four: If you want to place a call from Safari, all you need to do is to clicking on any phone number you come across on the internet
Step five: In Contacts, you simply need to select a contact you wish to make a phone call to, then navigate to the Call section on the right and click on Audio to place a call.
Steps to receive a phone call on your Mac
Once you have already set up your Mac to make and receive phone calls, you will get notification or alert on your Mac every time a new call comes in on your iPhone.
Step one: When your iPhone is ringing, a call alert window will appear in the top right corner of your Mac’s screen
