Thank you for your article. I am using a relatively new Mac Book Pro with Touch Bar. Bought in July of 2017. I was told that it was designed to limit the use of the fans. But I hear the fans run as soon as I boot into the OS. Is this normal? I’ve tried resetting the SMS and the PRM but no luck. I don’t hear any fan noise on a Mac Book Pro that is 18 months old and frankly I prefer the silence. Why the noise on the new Mac Book Pro with Touch Bar?
