How to skip iOS 9.3.5 and go straight to iOS 10

Apple has recently released an emergency update to fix the so-called “Trident” vulnerabilities. If you are not infected or you have never heard of this multiple-headed monster, we will explain what it is. Trident is collectively called the three zero-day vulnerabilities that attack a user’s phone “invisibly and silently”, and the worst part is that Trident remotely jailbreaks a user’s device through a program called Pegasus and secretly collects information from apps

Pegasus vulnerability infects any IOS device running IOS 9.3.4 or lower. Worse, the vulnerability has existed for a month, resulting in thousands of infected devices. If you are safe by now, we have to say “Congratulations!”


In reality, we recommend you upgrade your device to a new iOS version to avoid possible attack. However, if you are going to upgrade to iOS 9.3.5, think twice.  We recommend you make the leap to iOS 10 to make sure you are safe. In this tutorial, we will show you how to skip iOS 9.3.5 and go to iOS 10.

How to upgrade to iOS 10 on iOS device running iOS 9.3.4 or older

1. Create a backup

Creating a backup is always the first thing you need to do when it comes to upgrading an iOS device. Moreover, keep in mind that iOS 10 is still available as a beta. This means that it may come with glitches and errors. If you want to create a backup first, here is how you do it.

Step 1: Connect your phone with a PC or Mac

Step 2: Next up, launch iTunes and click on the iPhone or iPad icon in the menu bar

Step 3: Set your backup to this computer and click on Backup Now

Step 4: click Backup Apps

Step 5: Click iTunes in the menu bar and select Preferences

Step 6: Click Devices >Backup > Archive.

2. Sign up for iOS 10 beta

Next up, you need to register to be beta tester. If you are not a developer, don’t worry because Apple accepts anyone into the beta program

Step 1: Go to or tap Sign in (if you have already registered )

Step 2: Enter your Apple ID username and password. Once you are done, click Sign in

Step 3: Agree to the terms and conditions

3. How to install iOS 10 beta

You now can install iOS 10 using some simple steps below

Step 1: Launch the Settings app from your home screen

Step 2: Scroll down to General and tap on it.

Step 3: Tap on Software update

Step 4: Enter your passcode. Tap on the Agree button to accept terms and conditions
