When you send videos, images, or audio messages in the Messages app on your iPhone, these files will pile up and eventually take up a considerable amount of space. In this piece, we will show you how to quickly delete multiple images in the Messages app to get more space on your iOS device. This tip will be useful if you are now using a 16GB iPhone, and you are often involved in text messaging conversations on your iPhone. Here’s how to do it.
Step 1: First and foremost, launch the Messages app, and choose the conversation that includes the pictures you want to remove.
Step 2: You will see a list of all your attachments that stay in the Messages app. Just need to press and hold on one of the images you want to get rid of until a three-button menu: Copy, Save and More appears. Tap Delete to remove the image.
Step 3: If you want to delete multiple images at once, just need to tap and hold on one of your images and tap More, and then select all of the images you want to get rid of.
Step 4: Tap on the trash can icon in the bottom right and hit Delete Attachments to remove the images.
In reality, there are tons of apps that are taking up space on your iPhone. To find out which apps are using up storage on your iPhone, you can head to Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage > Manage Storage. You will see a list of your apps, and how much storage each one uses.
