iTunes has been a big part of Apple’s ecosystem for years and serves as a gathering place for your music, books, and games. Also, iTunes serves as a digital store where you can buy songs, movies, and many more. Basically, this process is pretty simple and works seamlessly. However, there are times when you have problems with your iTunes purchases.
A lot of Mac owners have reported that they are facing some problems with iTunes purchases like a failed purchase, new content not downloading, or files not playing after download.
If you are one of those who are affected by one of these problems, here is what you need to do. As usual, we recommend you have the latest iTunes software updates on your Mac. Keep in mind that a new software update usually comes with bug fixes, so it’s a good idea to stay up-to-date.
How to Fix Problems with iTunes Purchases
iTunes Purchased failed
One of the most common problems with iTunes is that the purchase is not working. In reality, a lot of Mac users are reporting that they cannot purchase items and books from iTunes while they get charged to the credit card. Luckily, we have a fix for your problem.
Step one: First off, open iTunes on your Mac (make sure you now have the latest iTunes update) and then click the Account menu.
Step two: Click View My Account.

Step three: You will be asked to enter your Apple ID account and then click Sign In.
Step four: Scroll down to the Purchase History and click See All. From here, you should see your most recent purchase. If you don’t see it, go to the item page and hit the download button.

Step one: Open the App Store or iTunes Store and then tap on the profile icon at the top right corner.
Step two: Tap Purchased on the next page, then tap Purchases and you should see a list of all the purchases you have made.

Step three: If you don’t see your most recent purchase, tap Not on This iPhone to reveal all purchases that are not installed on your device.

In the iTunes Store, select the More tab at the bottom right corner, then hit Purchased. From here, select Music, Movies, or TV Shows. Once you are in, locate the item you have purchased recently.
Content Downloads Not Complete

Step three: Click Check and your download should re-start.
