A lot of iPhone owners are facing problems with Apple’s latest iOS version, ranging from connectivity issues to slow performance. However, we have heard a lot of reports regarding Bluetooth connectivity issues in iOS 12.

Turn off Bluetooth and reboot your device
If Bluetooth fails to work on your phone in iOS 12, then the first solution is to turn off Bluetooth. To do this, open the Settings app from your home screen, then select Bluetooth and turn off the switch for Bluetooth. Once you are done, reboot your device to see if the problem is fixed.
If you now own an iPhone X, then the method used to perform a hard reset is slightly different from past iPhone models. Specifically, press and quickly release the Volume Up button on the side of the phone, then press and quickly release the Volume Down button. After that, press and hold the Side button until your phone restarts and you see the Apple logo.

Forget device
If your iPhone fails to pair with a Bluetooth device, then the best shot to deal with the issue is to forget the device and set up the whole thing from the scratch. The process is pretty simple and we will cover how in the section below.
Step one: First off, launch the Settings app from your home screen and then select Bluetooth to proceed
Step two: Once you are in, you will be presented with a list of all the devices that have been connected to your device
Step three: Now simply tap on the “I “icon next to the device you wish to forget and then hit Forget This Device
Step four: Pair your iPhone with the Bluetooth device again and check if the problem is fixed.

Reset network settings
If the above solution fails to work for you, then reset network settings on your phone. Keep in mind that doing so will reset your current network settings to their default state, meaning that you need to set up the whole thing again.
Step one: First off, open the Settings app and then select General
Step two: Now just simply tap Reset and hit Reset Network Settings
Step three: Enter your passcode to confirm your action and then try pairing to the device. If nothing changes, it’s time to take firm action to deal with the problem.

Restore and set up your phone
Restoring your iPhone serves as the last hope for success if none of the basic troubleshooting steps work. However, keep in mind that restoring an iPhone will erase all the data from your phone, so make sure you have a backup of your phone before proceeding.
Step one: First off, connect your iPhone to your computer and open iTunes (make sure you now have the latest iTunes on your computer)
Step two: Select your iPhone when it shows up in iTunes and then hit the Restore button
Step three: Once your phone is restored, then reboot your phone. Now just simply set up your phone as new or restore from a backup.
