Thanks to @Pwn20wnd and Sam Binger, the first iOS 14.3 jailbreaks for all iPhones and iPad, including the iPhone 12 and older models is finally here. However, because this is the first release so you will likely run into some issues while trying to jailbreak your iPhone. No worries, we have the guide to help you fix various Unc0ver jailbreak issues on iOS 14 here.

How to Fix iOS 14 – iOS 14.3 Unc0ver Jailbreak Problems

Turn On Airplane Mode

If this is your first-time jailbreaking iPhone, we recommend deleting any system OTA files before starting the jailbreaking process. Also, you will need to put your iPhone in Airplane mode and disable Bluetooth for this. Doing so will dramatically increase the chances of Unc0ver being able to jailbreak your iPhone successfully even on the very first try.

Avoid Any Signing Service

Remember to avoid using any third-party signing service to sign the Unc0ver IPA and jailbreak your iPhone. According to many users, doing this will decrease the chances of Unc0ver jailbreaking your device successfully. On top of that, we highly recommended that you use AltServer to sideload the Unc0ver v6.0 IPA on your iPhone. Then, also use this app to jailbreak your device.

Unc0ver Crashing at “Disable Sandbox”

Most iPhone users have reported the same “Disable Sandbox” error while trying to jailbreak their device. It tends to occur at step 9/30 when Unc0ver crashes at “Disable Sandbox”. If that is the case, make sure your iPhone is in airplane mode and you have only used AltStore to sideload the IPA on your iPhone. Additionally, you can also try restarting your device and then repeating the process to see if it works or not.

Unc0ver Jailbreak Process Failing

Whether it is crashing or freezing issues, the Unc0ver app might keep failing to jailbreak your device. If that is the case, then you will need to close the Unc0ver app. After that, start to clear all app cache, restart your device, turn on Airplane mode, and repeat the jailbreak steps on your iPhone again.

On top of that, here is another method that seems to have worked for a lot of users. We and many users on Reddit jailbreak community have tested this and successfully jailbreak.

Follow these steps to fix iOS 14 – iOS 14.3 Unc0ver jailbreak issues:

  1. Turn on your iPhone and kill all background apps.
  2. Enable Airplane mode.
  3. Next, open uncover.
  4. Go to Settings, then scroll to the bottom.
  5. Go see (refresh) widgets.
  6. Now, go back to the home screen and kill the uncover app.
  7. Open uncover app, go to settings, check Auto-Respring.
  8. Go to the main screen of Uncover.
  9. Count to 5-10 (CPU cooldown) then press Jailbreak.

Note: You might have to repeat the above steps a few times in order to jailbreak. But, it will work eventually.

Can’t Access Getting “Open In…” Option for AltStore

During the jailbreak process, you might not see the option to open the Unc0ver IPA in the “Open In…” menu on your PC. If that is the case, go to Unc0ver’s website and tap on the download button on your iPhone. Doing this will automatically open the app in AltStore.

Cydia Not Accessible

In case you cannot access Cydia on your jailbroken iPhone, here is what to do:

  1. Open the Unc0ver app on your iPhone/iPad
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Select reinstall Cydia followed by reset Cydia cache options.

Apple ID Not Being Accepted

If you cannot add your Apple ID to AltStore, try using a different Apple ID to see if it works. Also, you might want to create a new one for this purpose.
