Apple’s Next Event Will Happen On September 15th

It is no longer rumors, Apple annual special event will happen on September 15th. This information is confirmed through a press release. Apple will hold its special event on September 15th at 10 am Pacific time, at the Steve Jobs Theater on the Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California. This event will likely be held online like WWDC 2020 instead of on stage due to the effects of the Covid-19 epidemic globally. They are inviting members of the press and the public to tune in remotely to watch the events. Normally Apple will release its newest hardware invention in the Fall event. So which Apple’s products will be introduced in this upcoming September 15th event? Here are our predictions

iPhone 12

iPhone 12

The announcement for the new iPhone line up has always been the biggest focal point of this annual event. This year, the launch of the iPhone 12 will certainly happen in this September event as well. If the rumors are correct, Apple’s upcoming event will be where it will unveil four new iPhones with 3 different sizes, including the 5.4-inch iPhone 12, the 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Max, the 6.1 inch iPhone 12 Pro, and the  6.7 inch iPhone 12 Pro Max. These phones are expected to carry many upgrades compared to the previous generation such as high-end OLED display, powerful 5nm Apple A14 chip, 5G connectivity support, and new LiDAR scanners for the Pro models. These changes in the spec are promising to make the new iPhone be faster and more efficiency

About the design, iPhone 12 will most likely feature flat edges similar to the iPhone 4, iPhone 5, and the latest iPad Pro. However, they may still use the notch design on the front and the multiple lens rear camera system which is not much an upgrade from the previous generation

Apple Watch Series 6

Apple Watch Series 6 may also be introduced in this upcoming event. Although the rumors on the new Apple Watch series are lighter than iPhone 12, there are a couple of things that have surfaced so far. Codes found in iOS 14  indicate that Apple Watch Series 6 will have a blood oxygen level detection feature. This will further expand the Apple Watch’s health monitoring capabilities. On top of that, the new Watch series will get an update on the electrocardiograms. Which removes the limitation of reading 100 – 120 beats per minute.

For instance, one of the tentpole features of this year’s Apple Watch update is expected to be blood oxygen level detection. Code found within iOS 14 by 9to5Mac has indicated that Apple Watch will add it this year, further expanding the Apple Watch’s health monitoring capabilities.

As for the Apple Watch Series 6 design,  there may be not any major changes for its models. Although the major rumors said that the new series will have thinner bezels, it will more likely have the same industrial design. That means it will follow the same general form factor as the Series 4 and Series 5.

New iPad Generation, iPad Air,  and AirPower Wireless Charging Dock

These products are also predicted to be announced in this event. The next iPad generation does not seem to have much change compared to the previous lineup. So, more likely Apple will introduce an affordable 8th generation iPad, using a 10.2-inch screen with thick bezels and a more powerful A12 Bionic chip.

On top of that Apple is developing a new iPad Air model that features an edge-to-edge display. This would serve as a middle-ground option between the $329 iPad and the iPad Pro. The new models may feature Touch ID authentication built into the power button for the first time. The new iPad Air could also feature USB-C connectivity instead of Lightning connectivity, again closing the gap between it and the iPad Pro.

In addition, Apple doesn’t seem to be finalizing the new AirPower wireless charging dock yet, but the company seems to be releasing some information about the product at the upcoming event.

And More

Apart from the above hardware products, there are also some more possibilities in the Apple September 15th event. These products may not be released but we certainly will get more information about their release date in the event. They are including:

– A new Mac line-up that uses Apple Silicone chip

– Apple Studio over-ear headphones.

– AirTag item trackers.

– iOS 14, iPadOS 14, macOS 11 Big Sur, watchOS 7, and tvOS 14.

There you go, Here you go, here are things you can expect about the Apple event that will be hosted on September 15th. Which products are you expecting the most? We’d love to hear your opinions in the comments!
