Apple releases the 9th beta of macOS Mojave to developers

macOS is getting better and smarter every year when Apple announces new software updates. Apple has been improving its own Mac operating system for years in an attempt to offer a better user experience and attract more users out there.

In reality, Apple’s MacBook lineup is showing signs of a slowdown on the market as Apple reported a huge drop in sales performance in the second quarter of the year. Last month, Apple announced a refresh to its MacBook Pro models after months of leaks and rumors. Apple is finally adding Intel’s latest Coffee Lake processor to its MacBook series.

However, Apple confirmed that the 2018 MacBook Pro models failed to live up to expectations as they saw slow sales during the first weeks of availability. It seems that Apple needs something new this year to boost its sales. While we are expecting to see new MacBook devices this year. Apple has just released the ninth beta of its upcoming macOS Mojave for testing purposes.

macOS Mojave is Apple’s latest version of Mac operating system that was debuted at this year’s WWDC event. Basically, macOS Majove is not a significant upgrade over its previous versions, but it also comes with a lot of new things ranging from the dark mode and dynamic desktop to group FaceTime and redesigned Mac App Store.

Apple rolled out the beta versions of macOS Majova for testing purposes shortly after the unveiling event at WWDC 2018. The release of beta versions aims to collect user feedback ahead of the final release.

In reality, Apple has not specified when the final build of macOS Mojave was released. But, we are expecting to see it this fall. Last year, Apple announced macOS High Sierra in September alongside the new iPhone models. Therefore, Apple has no reason to stay away from this timeframe this year.

The ninth beta of macOS Mojave update brings in system improvements and bug fixes. Besides, Apple revamps the existing features in the latest update in order to offer smooth performance. According to early testers, macOS Mojave offers a much-improved performance when compared to the current macOS version.

One of the best features of macOS Mojave lies in Dark mode. With Dark mode, users can change your Mac’s theme or adjust the color of the dock, menu bar, apps, and many more. This comes in handy as it eliminates the need for third-party apps to be installed on your device.

Besides, macOS Mojave includes Dynamic Desktop that automatically changes your Mac’s wallpapers to match with the time of day. The update includes new Markup tools and management options that let you record your Mac’s screen. This is one of the biggest additions to macOS Mojave as it eliminates the need to download any additional software out there.

Apart from the new iPhone models and new Macs, Apple will announce new iPad Pro models. However, it remains unknown what Apple will include in this year’s iPad models. Back in March, Apple announced a new 9.7 inch iPad model to target students.
