The Air lineup of laptops has not seen a major upgrade in recent years. Earlier this year, sources said that Apple would discontinue the Air series and replace it with a new range of laptops. However, it seems that Apple has been working on a new MacBook Air for years.
Sources claim that the next generation MacBook Air will feature a Retina display, making it the first Air model with this screen technology. Besides, the new MacBook Air will come with smaller bezels and Face ID at launch. Under the hood, the device will be fueled by Intel’s latest chip for better performance.
In terms of pricing, the new MacBook Air is expected to carry the same price tag as the current Air model.
