Apple iPhone has changed so much since the day one. Apple’s mighty iPhones are getting bigger in shape and size, offering an exceptional experience for users worldwide. Last year, Apple announced three new iPhone models, including iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X. iPhone X is the best iPhone you can buy right now, thanks to their big changes and features.
iPhone X has been available out there for six months only. However, rumors regarding the next generation iPhone have started to heat up since the launch day, giving users a preview of what’s coming into this year’s model.
2018 iPhone models are expected to include a lot of never-seen-before features while revamping the existing ones. With that in mind, we have compiled a list of the most wanted features we wish to see in this year’s iPhone models. Before we begin, note that this year’s iPhone models will make their debut at Apple’s annual event in September.

Virtual reality
Apple has been working on VR/AR features for months, offering users multiple options to interact with apps and services. Last year, Apple officially added an AR feature, called Animoji to its iPhone X, allowing users to create an animated scan of their face. Apple Animoji was met with mostly positive reviews from users and tech experts at launch.
Rumors say that Apple will add support for virtual reality to its iPhone lineup this year. This adds up to previous rumors that Apple has been working on VR glasses. However, it remains unknown when Apple launches VR glasses to the public. Tech experts say that Apple’s upcoming VR glasses will put the company in intense competition with Samsung on the marker.
For some background, Samsung’s Gear VR is among the most used VR glasses out there. The South Korean firm is also planning to unveil the next-gen Gear VR glasses this year.

Much-improved Face ID
Face ID is one of the biggest additions to Apple’s iPhone lineup. With Face ID, Apple introduces a new way to unlock an iPhone, which lies in using your face. In reality, face-scanning functionality is not something new out there, as it has been around in Android devices for years. Basically, Face ID works similar to Galaxy Note 8’s counterpart, but it’s faster and smarter.
However, that does not mean that everything runs smoothly. A number of iPhone X owners have reported that Face ID sometimes fails to work or stops responding. Tech experts say that Apple will revamp Face ID this year, offering a much-improved experience for users.
-
USB-Type C
USB-Type C has been the standard feature on top-tier Android smartphones for years. The adoption of USB-Type C offers a faster file transfer and rapid charging. Apple was previously rumored to add USB-Type C support to its iPhone lineup last year. However, it was nowhere to be found at launch.
In reality, Apple’s MacBook now includes support for USB Type-C for faster charging and file transfer. Tech experts claim that Apple will add USB-Type C cables to its iPhone lineup this year. However, there is a good chance that users will buy them separately.
-
Better 3D Touch
3D Touch was first introduced alongside the iPhone 6s, offering users multiple options to interact with apps. 3D Touch is getting smarter every year when Apple releases new software updates. However, 3D Touch sometimes becomes a cause of annoyance as it fails to work.
Rumors say that Apple has been testing the next-gen 3D Touch for months. And, the company is now ready to launch it this year. The coolest part is that Apple might launch new 3D features that help users get the most out of the technology.

Larger screen
Apple iPhone is getting much better. iPhone is currently the biggest iPhone Apple has ever released to the public. Rumors say that Apple will launch a 6.5 inch iPhone model this year that replaces the iPhone X.
According to Ming-Chi-Kuo, who is best known for his accurate forecasts when it comes to Apple devices, Apple will continue to use OLED panel on its upcoming 6.5-inch device. Besides, there will be a 6.1 inch iPhone, but the device will belong to the mid-range segment. However, the 6.1-inch device will stick with LCD panel.
Rumors also say that Apple will unveil a new iPhone SE this year. The second generation SE will come with a much-improved camera setup, faster processor, and includes a lot of premium devices this year. The SE 2 will target emerging markets this year.
